Ms. Linda Inthavong has had a passion and hobby for music since she was a child. She has begun singing songs and
has been active singing at various Laotian Community functions since she was 10 years old.
She got her first Camera-Photo at 9 years old. Then Snap-Shot anything she see and not see. On that time it cost so
much for her parents to buy a new film all the time. At 12 years old, she got her first Computer. She spent alot of time to
explore this new High-Technology and her Photography hobbie on the side for a while. At 16 years old, she got her first
Video-Camcorder. For many years, Linda combinated the Camera + Camcorder + Computer to be her favorite hobbies.
Doing some filming, editing and producing. Since then, she never stop.
At 10 years old, she started singing on a real stage for a Lao Community Party. She like to entertain the crowd on the
dance floor. Since then, they named her: Linda the NewWave Singer.
Ms. Inthavong was invited to sing at various functions by many Laotian charitable social services organizations, Some
Wal-Mart in Canada Festival, Miracle Children Network of Canada, Childrens Hospital Foundation, and Lao Temples in
different parts of Canada( Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa), US (Massachusette, Texas, Virginia and Minnesota with the
Royal Lao Veterans of America on March 27, 2010 in celebrating the 60th Anniversary in commemorating those Laotian
soldiers lost their lives during the secret war in Laos), and Europe ( Paris, France ).
Ms. Linda Inthavong has also played a piano in the past and was an award recipient in playing piano at school when
she was a child. She has aslo exposed herself to playing drum in the past years. Recently, she has begun to focus on
writing her own songs and has made a concerted effort to record her own songs. She has made her songs become
available for others to listen through youtube, audio track on Lao overseas TV, Lao Kingdom and many other community
gatherings. Ms. Inthavong has now begun to become one of the emerging young artist. Some of her songs have
received a favorable feedback and hits songs by both the young and adult leaders.
In addition, Ms. Inthavong has volunteered her time and energy to help those disadvantaged and/or disabled childrens to
reach their own full potential at other charitable social services organizatons and hospitals. She has also volunteered
her time to help raising funds for the Lao temples and other non-profit organizations. Ms. Inthavong and the team of Lao
Overseas TV were one of Laotian Media who helped as Media Sponsor and the only Laotian Media that provided LIVE
Broadcasting for the First International Lao New Year Festival in April 2009. The Lao Overseas TV is one of the of
Laotian Media for 2nd International Lao New Year Festival that helps marketing and advertising its Lao New Year
Festival Event at www.lotvonline.com Ms. Inthavong is proud to be invited as one of the young artist singer on the 2nd
International Lao New Year Festival on April 10, 2010. She is looking forward to share and entertain her audience again.
